Flanders Nickels and Jodi DeGroot, the woman he led to salvation last week, are on a rendezvous at Selfridge Park in Ripon, Wisconsin.  She is dressed in a most elegant purple prom gown for this date.  He finds out from her that she has also fifty other prom dresses to dress up in.  He believes that these will hinder her spiritual growth as a new convert in Christ.  As a believer himself, he tells her about the Biblical incorruptible crown in I Corinthians.  Therein the Bible says that that crown will be given to the believers in Heaven who let Christ control their lives on Earth.  But Jodi is letting her prom dresses control her life on Earth instead.  Miss DeGroot must choose between the incorruptible crown and her menagerie.

Tracy Zephyr, a wicked woman allowed into the countryside paradise called ‘the land,’ killed a believer named ‘Flanders,’ here.  She hates Christ and all Christians.  And she hates this land, because it is too much like God.  She tries to get out of this land and back to the world.  But the land does not let her leave.  But she gets to like this land and comes to see God’s creation here as good now.  Behold, another visitor comes into the land. He is Flanders’s best friend Proffery, also a Christian.  And Proffery is looking for Flanders here.  And Proffery leads Tracy to salvation.  Lo, the way back to the world opens up for her.  But she knows that God says that she must give up her life for the life of the man whom she had killed.  If she stays here in the land, she will live happily ever after.  If she leaves the land now and returns to the world, she will have to die for her sin of murder according to the Word of God.  What will the young woman do?

At an abandoned lone silo in the countryside Flanders Nickels finds pretty Jenny Lourdes come back into his life.  He is a born-again Christian, and to his delight he finds out that so, too, is Jenny now.  Lo, fair Jenny has to tell him that the notorious WidowerMaker is coming after her in his war against Christ and Christian wives.  Behold he appears before them now where they stand by the forgotten silo.  The WidowerMaker, his saber in his hand, wants to slay Jenny.  But Flanders stands between him and Miss Lourdes. Lisa ‘Gravel’ Reysa, in her American flag one-piece swimsuit, is alone with her thoughts on the shores of Lake Michigan in Wisconsin.  She asks God, ‘What is the meaning of my life?’  Gravel is lonely and unsatisfied in her life.  She is a sheep in search of a Shepherd.  Lo, Flanders comes for her.  He was once an old crush for her.  He is a Christian man now.  He  might have the answer to her question.  He begins to tell her about Christ the Saviour.  Lo, along now comes Professor for her.  He was her former teacher who had taught her to seek truth by introspective personal analysis.  Flanders tells her that only Jesus satisfies.  But Professor tells her that analytics satisfies—all she needed do was to study her mind with her mind.  Which means to happiness will Lisa choose?

Flanders Nickels, a born-again believer, is writing a story about the girl who got away.  Her name is Kyrie Kaye.  And he fondly calls her ‘My woodland nymph.’  Behold, as he is writing this, she comes for him.  And she wears a bewitching black witch hat that looks beautiful on her.  He goes on to witness to her about her need for Jesus.  But her pet harpy that she has with her comes between the two.  Flanders sees her and her harpy as a witch and her familiar spirit.  Will the young woman seek Christ as Saviour? Lisa ‘Gravel’ Nickels, in her black and white cheerleader uniform, and her husband Flanders Nickels are wading down a countryside creek on their last date together in this life.  God is taking Gravel from him because of their disobedience to God’s will for them.  God had told Lisa, “Stay single and continue drawing sketches for Me.”  God had told Flanders, “Stay single and continue writing stories for Me.”  But instead they fall in love, get married, and stop their work for the Lord.  She had quit her sketches.  He had quit his stories.  Thus wife and husband backslid on the Lord in their ministry in Christ.  After ten years of this happy marriage, God is now about to take Lisa home to Heaven as judgment upon willful sin.  And, at a “lake” in a creek, Gravel comes home to Heaven in their last moment together in this life. The Wizard Lady, whose name is Gravel, rules the east as the Witch of the East.  She is a redoubtable witch who can do anything simply with a wave of her Scepter.  And she accepts a visit from a man of God, a born-again believer named Flanders Nickels.  He is bold in Christ.  He has a crush on her.  And he has a burden for her lost soul.  Being a wizard lady, she is among all people the most antagonistic toward any preaching and any preachers.  Knowing that she has the power to turn him to stone or to do to him anything else she felt like doing arbitrarily, he witnesses to her anyway about her need for the Saviour Jesus Christ. Flanders Nickels, a Christian, tells his Christian girlfriend Jodi Desgraves that he has lost his love for the Christmas carol ‘The First Noel.’  Jodi tells him that she knows about a blessed Haven where Jesus is, where He answers the prayers of His believers.  Flanders wants to go there and ask Jesus to bring back ‘The First Noel,’ into his heart.  But to get there to this place, one had to walk down a dangerous two-rutted road where demons dwell and hinder the children of God.  Flanders and Jodi and a group of fellow Christians go on a walk down there.  The demons come and the believers overcome these demons by quoting effective Scripture against them.  These demons were a Great Beast and a Predator Bird and a Centaur and a Griffin and a Unicorn and a Chimera and a Basilisk and a Damned Soul and a Wizard and the Great Black Dragon himself.

Four born-again believers go on a double date to Wisconsin’s north country, a certain place where prayers are answered and dreams come true.  Flanders Nickels calls this place ‘The Mythical Land.’  With Flanders is his prom gown girlfriend Kyrie K. Kendricks and his best friend Proffery Laud and his best friend’s girlfriend Carolina Student.  Here in the Mythical Land, the Holy Spirit gives to the four believers that which they want from Him in the Lord.
