The Forrest Cheerleaders – Mr. Morgan P. McCarthy

Stacey and Jaycee, identical twin sisters, are the Forrest Cheerleaders.  Stacey Forrest dresses in a red cheerleader uniform, and Jaycee Forrest dresses  in a yellow cheerleader uniform.  They are both born-again Christians. But their boyfriends, Flanders and Proffery, are not born-again believers.  Flanders’s answer to life is lots of dogs.  Proffery’s answer to life is lots of money.  The Forrest cheerleaders’ answer to life is the Lord Jesus. And trouble comes among the four because of this.

The Wedding Bride – Mr. Morgan P. McCarthy

Allyson Alicia Ally, the wedding bride, is going to marry her fiance Proffery.  But they are not born again, and they get into many arguments as boyfriend-and-girlfriend.  Their best friends, Flaurie Flossey Threepennies and Flanders are both born again, and they, too, are boyfriend-and-girlfriend; but they do not argue and fight with each other.  And Flaurie and Flanders pray for the souls of Allyson and Proffery.  The wedding bride’s dress has one hundred buttons on the back.  And the day of the wedding is drawing near.  And the wedding bride and the wedding bridegroom have another big fight before the wedding.

The Sophomore Girlfriend – Mr. Morgan P. McCarthy

The Sophomore Girlfriend—Brindle Staid–and Flanders Nickels have been dating for one year now.  Flanders was born again now for one month.  But Brindle is still lost. They are both tenth-graders at Preble High School.  And tonight on a date they are at the varsity football game to see the Preble Hornets play the first game of the year.  Their disagreement upon her own need for salvation comes to a head this evening, and they are on the verge of breaking up.  And along comes the star quarterback—the most popular boy of high school.  And Brindle runs off with him.  Flanders prays.  And God answers his prayer with a most unusual series of events.
