Flaurie Neveu Keyes, a Christian woman, loves the planet Venus and dreams of going there someday.

Unfortunately, her love for Venus hinders her walk in Christ.  Flanders Nickels, A Christian guy himself, is a neighbor who is a stranger and to whom Flaurie is a stranger.  He loves his menagerie of solid-colored maillots, and he dreams of having a girlfriend someday who will put these on for him.  However, his one-piece swimsuit fetish gets in the way of his worship of God.  Boy meets girl; one thing leads to another; and God gets them both right in the Lord.

Surreal the Gal and Flanders the Guy are boyfriend-and-girlfriend-in-Christ.  Both are new converts and still carnal in their walk with Christ.  God told Surreal to give out tracts.  But she got punched by a giantess of a woman when she tried to give her a salvation tract, and she refused to give out any more tracts for God after that.  God told Flanders to slay dragons.  But Flanders slew a wyvern instead and was remorseful at having killed.  And he told God that he would never slay a dragon as he had the wyvern.  The Lord has to chasten them for their disobedience.  Will they submit to the will of God after they lost their blessings?

Of Pencils and Prom Gowns – Mr. Morgan P. McCarthy

Miss Distry Reeves has a wooden green bin with two precious possessions inside.  One is a box of pencils; the other is a prom gown of purple acetate.  The pencils symbolize to her the short stories that God has given her to write.  The prom dress represents the lonely life of a young woman without a boyfriend.  She loves to write religious/inspirational stories with pencil and paper.  Yet she also wants a boyfriend in her life for whom she can put on her prom gown on all of their dates.  God sends her to Usher Flanders who will tell her what God wills for her in her life.
