Flanders Nickels is a born-again believer who is not ready for Heaven to come.  A Christian who desires to be with the Lord in Heaven will have a crown of righteousness waiting for him in Heaven.  But not Flanders.  A fairy princess bride named Madrigal Grymalkin comes from God to help him to get his heart right with the rapture.  With her wand, Madrigal puts Flanders through various tests of temptations to guide his heart toward loving the Lord’s appearing.  Will Flanders have this crown to give back to Jesus in the life to come?

Miss Distry Reeves has a wooden green bin with two precious possessions inside.  One is a box of pencils; the other is a prom gown of purple acetate.  The pencils symbolize to her the short stories that God has given her to write.  The prom dress represents the lonely life of a young woman without a boyfriend.  She loves to write religious/inspirational stories with pencil and paper.  Yet she also wants a boyfriend in her life for whom she can put on her prom gown on all of their dates.  God sends her to Usher Flanders who will tell her what God wills for her in her life.

Miss Threenus Oughkeepsie, a true hermit woman with a devoted pet wyvern, never leaves her yard of one big meadow of field grass.  She comes to want a boyfriend -in-the-Lord to share Christ with in her Christian life.  And her Wyvern, named ‘League,’ tells her that she won’t find a manfriend if she stays home all the time and never dares to leave her yard.  Threenus is afraid to go on a journey.  But she wants to find companionship with a guy out there somewhere.  And she, for her first time, dares to step across the countryside road ‘North Drive.’  Along comes Flanders Nickels, riding his white unicorn.  And the prayer-answering God works in her life from there.

Flaurie, having come from a lone island of isolation, comes to the United States with her new boyfriend Halberder.  They plan on getting married.  The first wondrous thing that this woman discovers in the United States is the traditional high school cheerleader.  In a unique fetish, Flaurie covets a cheerleader uniform so much that it gets in the way of her walk with Christ, herself being a new convert to Christianity.  And the betrothal is at risk because of her backsliding.
