The two-piece swimsuit girlfriend and her boyfriend are on a date at Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay near the bay. Her name is Louisiana Lasser, and his name is Flanders Nickels. They are both born-again Christians with all kinds of ideas about what Heaven will be like, but not the right one. They both need to see Heaven as the Paradise where Jesus is in His Person. The Seagull Keeper – Mr. Morgan P. McCarthy

Laurie Nevers, a keeper of seven pet seagulls, has a visit from two witness warriors out knocking on doors. One is Proffery, a young man who falls into flirt with her as he tells her about Jesus. The other is Flanders, a young man whose focus stays on Christ as he tells her about God. The three get together in the aviary, a red barn specially designed for seagulls. And the devil and the Lord fight over her soul there among the seagulls in this aviary.

My collection of Christian short stories, numbering one hundred in all, I affectionately call ‘My Canon of Horsetails and Cattails.’ And my collection of Christian novels, numbering fifteen in all, I affectionately call ‘My Canon of Griffins and Unicorns.’ And my pen name—Flanders Nickels—I came up with from nowhere some time back in the mid-1980’s. And my writing ministry for God I happily call ‘My Canon Ministry.’ I use only the King James Version Bible. And I am a fundamental Baptist. I hope that you have fun reading for free on this website. And I myself became a born-again believer in Christ in a most wondrous time around Christmas in 1990 in a soul-changing twelve days which I fondly call ‘My Twelve Days of Christmas.’ It is written, ‘”…, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,…” Acts 16:31.’
